I finished two proofreads. One of them was done in front of the computer listening to it being read by a computer voice. It always shocks me how helpful that dull reading is in finding mistakes.
Well my sister challenged me to lay back and just read the book. So I used Scrivener to format the book into a .mobi, it's like an .epub but for the Kindle. I had to download a fix from Kindle but it's a very nice part of Scrivener I will use a lot.
It's been different just reading. I must admit I am cheating a bit and using the bookmarks to show grammar mistakes. I just can't help it!
I'm so glad I'm enjoying this book. It was written in such a novel way for me. I can't wait to start my next book but first I want to get the prepwork done on this one. I'm hoping soon to publish a couple of these works.
Riding in the car today I heard a new book character talking to me about her life. I politely asked her to wait in line. I had two movies to see and a hubby to eat lunch with. She's hanging around poking me in the shoulder. I might have to write a few lines soon to get her to give me time to finish up on my NaNoWiMo project I've been talking about. :)
