I can't believe it, but I love intermittent fasting.
I'm not complaining 50 lbs was awesome, but I still have a health goal of 20 more. I would love to drop more meds.
Last night I ran across an article from Woman's World.com. It was a great quick read about Dr. Berg's meal plan.
I thought I would be starving, and it would be harder, but it wasn't. It has been strange putting my snacks with my meal and adding my desserts at the same time. This is helping my blood glucose levels. I have never seen them so midline.
It did take a real blood glucose need for me to try intermittent fasting, but it was easier than I expected once I got started. Dr. Berg pushes big leafy green salads, and I already had those in my diet, so it was easy.
I just set my Rebal low-carb ice cream on the counter as I walk away to eat my meal, and it's ready the moment my meal is done.
My suggestion is to give intermittent fasting a try. What's the worst that can happen? You just have a meal when you weren't planning on one. :)
